The middle of May is going to be a busy, busy time for me. I am teaching at MQS, the Machine Quilter’s Showcase, and attending International Quilt market. Good thing that they are only 20 minutes apart! I could whine and moan about all the back and forth, and the hectic schedule…..but truth be told, I love it! I love to be busy and just slightly overbooked.
So here’s how my schedule is breaking down for that week:
Wednesday May 16th- MQS: Machine Quilting for the Modern Quilt- Demo on Longarm 1pm-3pm
Thursday, May 17th-
MQS:
Machine Quilting for the Modern Quilt- Lecture 8am-9am
Blogging for Business- Lecture 9:30am -10:30am
Book Signing- 11 am at the Gammill booth
This is my first book signing and your chance to get your hands on a free copy of my book, but you gotta get there early, there are only so many books to hand out.
Then, I will head back to Quilt Market where I will try to attend some school house presentations as well as give my own. (Details to come)
Friday, May 18th
MQS:
Machine Quilting for the Modern Quilt- Demo 1-3pm (Last class at MQS)
Quilt Market- Hanging out!
Saturday May, 19th~ Quilt Market all day!
Book Signing: 1 pm
Mini trunk show at the Quilter’s Dream Batting Booth: TBA
Machine Quilting Demo- TBA
Sunday, May 20th Quilt Market- nothing but walking the floor! Then go home and sleep for a week….
I hope to see some of you at some of you at Quilt Market or MQS. I think it’s going to be a fun, inspiring time for all of us!
In the meantime, I am trimming up samples from the book and having my sister-in-law bind them. I want to use them in my classes, but I can’t show them unfinished!…..I knew I saved all those binding scraps for something!

You are going to be a very busy lady! I will be up at MQS on Wednesday also. I went last year but wasn’t able to take any classes. This year I have 3 classes to take – all feathers. Maybe I will get to meet you there!
