“Fat Quarterly Shape Workshop for Quilters” part 2

In addition to the quilt that I blogged about yesterday, I also quilted a second quilt for the Fat Quarterly Shape Workshop for Quilters

Just like the last quilt, I really enjoyed quilting it. The strips were the ideal size to try out some of my favorite quilting designs. I find that really narrow strips or really wide strips limit the quilting designs that can be used. For this quilt, I alternated between two different designs.

I really love the colors and fabrics in the quilt, especially the solid fabrics. It is so gratifying to actually see the quilting on the front of the quilt!

I have ordered a copy of the book and can’t wait to get my hands on it! The reviews have been amazing to say the least. Until it comes…..I am going to get back to work!

Happy Quilting!

Fun Quilt and quilting! It’s hard to see – did you change thread colors or go with one thread color and if so what color and type?

As always Angela, you did an awesome job on the quilting. You are very inspiring and if I didn’t have to go to an office job everyday, I would love to drive to Kansas City and meet you!! I am still going to keep my eye out for you at the MQS! Thanks so much for sharing your quilting ideas and photos of quilts.
